La Pae stands for "PEACE" in Michif
Meet The Team
I started La Pae Massage Therapy October of 2020 and graduated from the Western College of Remedial Massage in 2019.
I focused on helping my clients with real client therapist communication using assessment based massage therapy to find the root cause of dysfunctional pain.
I believe that you are not at peace when you are in pain, which is why I decided to name the clinic La Pae which stands for peace in Michif (metis).
I am so grateful for all the clients of La Pae and the amazing staff here at La Pae who also focuse on assessment based massage.
We are proud partners with RISE counselling and reiki, the brickhouse gym and queen city pickle ball club.
I am a Registered Massage Therapist here at La Pae Massage Therapy. I am very new to my career, having graduated from Prairie College of Massage Therapy in June 2024. Even though I’m just starting out, my passion for massage therapy runs deep.
I know various techniques that I still use every day with my clients, such as myofascial techniques like skin rolling, and therapeutic methods like pin and stretch, GTO’s, and muscle separation. These are just a few of my go-to techniques that have proven effective in my practice.
I have also completed a continuing education course focused on pregnancy massage, which has enhanced my understanding of the unique anatomy and biomechanics of the pregnant pelvis.
I've always known that I wanted to do something in my life to help people. Seeing my loved ones suffer from various injuries and conditions, and witnessing how much massage therapy could improve their overall well-being, inspired me to pursue this path. After graduating I wanted to find a clinic that prioritized education and client care, so I was very selective in my job search.
After numerous interviews and emails with different clinics in Regina, I hadn't found the right fit. Then, on one of my last days in the student clinic, Dryden stopped by to talk to some of us new grads. We set up an interview at La Pae Massage Therapy, and I wasn't expecting much, but I was pleasantly surprised. Everything Dryden said about assessment and massage resonated with me. His passion for providing people with the help they deserve was clear, and that’s something I think is often overlooked.
I look forward to continuing to provide excellent care here at La Pae Massage Therapy.
Hi friends! I have been around sports and health my whole life, and have been practicing massage since I graduated from Makami College in Edmonton in 2015. In that time I have gained an extremely wide variety of treatment experiences. Some of my favourite things are frisbee, soccer, squash, singing, cooking, comedy, and anything nerdy!
My assessment-based treatment experience has worked with injury prevention and recovery through: dance, swimming, track, field, distance, soccer, football, hockey, golf, racquet sports, ringette, lacrosse, horse/bull riding, combat sports, bodybuilding, powerlifting, fencing, trampoline, figure skating, cycling, free diving, and gymnastics.
I also enjoy working with singers, speakers, musicians, and dental recoveries for all of the neck and jaw and breathing mechanics that can lead to increased quality of life.
I also enjoy working with prenatal women through the physical journey of tightness and changes that come with pregnancy.
I also have experience working with those who have experienced addictions and trauma; by providing positive touch and safe conversation to anyone who has gone through a different type of battle.
My treatment style is assessment-based and very adaptable; while I focus on myofascial release with trigger point work, as well as deep tissue and stretching, all with the intention to work WITH the tissue.
I can't wait to help you feel better.
